Well it's that famous day all about love. To some it's a waste of time, others a happy occasion and to some poor singletons it's a very depressing day. Yet the day has just become another Hallmark holiday that you can take or leave.

I may be a singleton right now, but I havne't found it in the least depressing. Firstly, I've been too busy with work to think about it much. But mainly, I never got Valentine's in my youth (awwwww) and so got that disappointment out of the way. As I got older and actually started getting cards it just didn't seem as important.

I have been thinking about the people that matter to me today. They are my friends and family, certainly the folks that used to put up with me in Cartmel Bar.

Well whatever you're doing today, I hope it's a good one for you. And for those who I call friends, thanks for being there folks.
