Too Much Weather

There's too much of it. Especially the hot bits. I've got two fans aimed at me and yet I'm still baking. It's really muggy today and feels much hotter than it probably is. I've had enough though. Please can we skip the autumn and just go straight onto winter?

I suppose I should be grateful I've an LCD monitor now, a CRT would have melted me in this head. But the PC is pumping out plenty of heat and the room is stiffling. It's very hard to work under conditions such as this.

I just feel like lying down under the blast of the fans and eating every bit of ice in the freezer, including the stuff stuck to the broccoli.
