Manchester United's Gabriel Heinze is going to miss the rest of the season due to cruciate knee ligament damage. The Argentinian defender was injured during Wednesday's Champions League game against Villarreal.

Heinze could return before the end of the season but it doesn't seem likely. With skipper Roy Keane out of action for two-weeks with a hamstring strain the prospects for this weekend's trip to Anfield do not look good.

United's sicklist currenlty features Gary Neville, Wes Brown, Louis Saha, Quinton Fortune and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. At this rate I'm expecting a phone call from AF asking me to get my boots on.
