Regular readers will know we moved into a new flat last month. It's a lovely place, but I have a problem with my bedroom. On the wall are several hooks for hanging pictures on. However one of them, due to its location and the shadow it casts appears to be a huge spider scuttling up the wall.

Now a usual glance around the room doesn't make it seem anything like a spider. But when tired, or just seeing the thing out of the corner of one's eye, it appears to be a huge spider ready to drop down on me while I lie in my bed.

At least once a day I tell myself I should hang something on the hook, and do I remember? No I don't. Oh well, at least the hook doesn't look like a giant spider wasp.
