Harry's Blog

Well it's my last full day here today. Tomorrow I head to London to share a flat with my beautiful girlfriend L. Today certainly has that feeling of being ready to go, but I can't go yet. So that's not fun really. I wish I could just head off there right now.

I have to say my friends have been really supportive here. They are delighted I've met someone as special as L and are really supportive of my choice to move down to London to be with her. My sister, the person I'll miss the most following my move, has been so kind, loving and supportive about my move. So thanks guys and gals, thanks for offering your congratulations and wishing us well.

It's a shame some of L's friends haven't been as quick to offer support or congratulations. They are too busy with dogma to see the effort we are making, and the wonderful new life we are building together. But hopefully they'll come round a little, after all, we know we are doing the right thing - it's just fundie inertia preventing them from doing so. I'm sure it will be okay, I have faith.

But me?

Well I'm as happy as a man can be. I know I've talked a lot about L here and what she means to me. Perhaps you've taken it as hyperbole or something. But I tell you honestly friends, you will never meet a more kind, caring, funny, intelligent, sweet, beautiful woman.

Every moment I've spent with her has been truly special. She makes me laugh so much, she makes me think so much - she inspires me in so many ways. She really is my dream come true, my princess, my one and only. I know that God has blessed me with her, that he has entrusted me with his most special daughter. Believe me, I will never take that for granted, I will treasure her and love her always.

And yeah, I know right now you are probably thinking, "oh please". But honestly, you may have felt this for someone, or deep down this is what you yearn for too. You know what love is really about. Be happy for us. We have found the most wonderful thing in the world - each other. Friendship, love, romance, passion, faith and honesty.

Tomorrow we begin a new adventure together, being flatmates. And I begin an adventure that is a quest away from my kingdom. Believe me, it's the most exciting thing to ever happen to me. Cheerio friends, I'll see you again soon.

And L, I love you honey and always will, see you tomorrow.
