The Ashes
The cricket has been great entertainment so far. As I write this entry Australia are 32-1 in their second innings at Old Trafford. Far from being a walkover for the Aussies, this Ashes test series is turning into a great battle and the England team have a great chance of winning it this time around.
Thanks to the TV Card in my PC, I'm able to watch the match live today while I'm working, which is rather excellent really.

What can I say after a finish like that! I don't think my heart has stopped pounding, if it wasn't for a day of seasonal Mancunian weather we might well have done it. Oh well onwards and upwards - roll on the next Test I say.
And, yes it is delightful that it isn't a walkover for the Aussies. It has also been a series where all Eglish players have played their part, even after some typical poor English press coverage for the likes of Giles & Jones.
