Something for the Weekend
So what you up to this weekend? We've both got interesting weekends planned. As a foetus I spent my formative months in Ireland before being born in England. I've not been back there since. It's ironic then that my beloved L is heading over to Dublin tomorrow for the weekend. She's off for a break with her best friend S.
Meanwhile I have plans of my own, namely my stag do. It's a smaller event than I had envisaged, being made up of myself and co-blogger Bill Door (aka AW). However it's a long way for the Manchester crowd to come and they're spending enough to be at the wedding next month. Hopefully those that are staying over in the area the night before the wedding will join me for a few ales on the wedding eve.
Anyway my plan for the weekend runs something like this. Friday - work, play videogames, pine for L. Saturday - some work in the morning, then beer, some more beer, perhaps some whiskey, some videogames, more beer, then perhaps a Pink Floyd DVD and more beer. I'll have to run that itinerary by Bill Door though. Sunday - trying to recover from Saturday. Bank Holiday Monday - setup the father in law's broadband.
I've got other stuff to do too. I'll probably write up a review of the new Iron Maiden album A Matter of Life and Death. There's a half finished song in the process of being recorded too, so I'll have to tune up my guitars and have a bash at getting the track finished, probably on Friday evening.
Meanwhile I've just realised I've a load of bill payments to set up in my online banking, so I'll have to stop waffling and go get on with that.
What you up to this weekend?
Aside: if you're looking for the entry on Manchester Cathedral and Sony you'll find it right here.
