Now the Xbox 360 has launched in America, the number of rumours and hype has risen to an almost unimaginable level.

Well, I'd like to add to that but posting a few rumours I've heard.

Xbox 360 is the worlds first forward compatible console. Basically, it'll run Xbox 3 games in emulation mode when the console's released in 2008, except the gfx wont be as good and the 4xAA won't work.

Game is rushing a bundle to stores ready for the UK launch to enable adequate cooling. For an extra 40 quid you get a marquee that you simply erect in your garden so in winter you can 360 outdoor and ensure no overheating occurs.

Xbox 360 is so powerful, it will need to be wired directly into the mains. In the UK MS are in talks with British Energy about developing new methods of coping with the surge in demand for power. In fact Tony Blair recently opened talks on restarting the nuclear power station programme purely to cope with the Xbox 360's demands on the National Grid.
