Yes it is Clive Wolfendale (good Welsh name there ) who is the Deputy Chief Constable of North Wales Police. Clive the article reveals is English, whilst the Clwyd West MP David Jones (see two Welsh names) said Wolfie's comments were "laughable".

Having lived 'nextdoor' to the Welsh. I can tell you the tale that H once got threatened in a pub just inside the border as they took offence to his English accent! So I doubt the flags will make a lot of difference, if I was Clive I'd change my name by deedpoll and start calling everyone boyo.
