Watching Her Sleep (2005)

June 14th, 2005

She stirs and sighs and moves again,
Her face caught in a moonlit moment,
And I sigh at the sight of her pale skin
Reflecting, the glow of her relaxed beauty
Capture within this alabaster lunar frame.

The High Tower (2005)

May 27th, 2005

My armour is tattered, more than a little battered,
As through the portcullis gate I stumble

Her Laughter (2005)

May 23rd, 2005

Bright sunlight flashes from the ripples,
As the cool stream passes between rocks,

Sonnet for a Princess (2005)

March 23rd, 2005

Caught in rapture of your smile
I stand transfixed to heavenly love here ever after
How is it we two souls should come to love?
For love hath torn me into happiness unbound
Here together under a loving watchful God
Each moment a precious jewel new found
And one promise I make to thee for all time
I am yours as I am thine, oh sweet princess of mine.

Rachel Nevada (1996)

June 23rd, 2004

Feels like I died a thousand deaths but I only died three times in her arms tonight
In Rachel, Nevada, near Tonopah, where the flyboys play with stealth
The Highway Patrol chases flying saucers to Socorro New Mexico
And I chase romantic delusions from here to White Sands AFB
