Good Weekend?
Did you have a good weekend? Ours was pretty good - the weather seems to have returned to a summer theme here in Dorset. So we were able to get out and about.
The twins haven't always been easy to cope with over the weekend though - we're definitely in the middle of the terrible twos. At times it seems that our placid little baby Will is the best behaved out of the five of us.
Yesterday afternoon I took a drive along the coast between Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock and some of the photos I took are below. I'd love to go back to these locations at a more photogenic time of day - but having small children does often make that difficult.

Procrastination Post - Sherborne Castle
Yes I know I've been rubbish at updating over the last few weeks. I have some plans for the blog - both this person one and Grumpygamer, I just need to get my arse in gear and get on with them.
In the meantime here are some photos of our afternoon out to Sherborne Castle - after the page jump...
Baby Will at Three Weeks
How's baby Will getting along? You can see the latest pictures after the jump...
Yeovilton International Air Day 2009
For father's day I'd been bought a ticket to the Yeovilton International Air Day. Despite the arrival of baby Will, wifey was keen for me to bugger off to the event anyway. So I did.
Low cloud made for a poor grey spectacle at the air show - and it kept many planes from flying. The poor light and ugly grey sky meant that of 300 photos these are the only ones I thought had much merit.

William Arthur Neary
This is our beautiful son Will who was born today at 15:25. He weighed 7 lb 13 oz. Mum and baby are doing really well.
Painting for the First Time
My wife is a brave woman, she's nine months pregnant and yet decides to give the twins their first go at painting. But I guess with the rain pouring down that teacher training has stepped in and she's gone into "wet break" mode. What a trooper.

Do I Miss Northolt?
I must admit there's a little bit of HDR going on here. Three bracketed handheld exposures were combined. But the aim wasn't to create one of those weird halo-ruined monstrosities you mostly associate with the technique. The aim was to capture what I saw with my own eyes - and this is pretty close.
Butter Wouldn't Melt
Don't the twinnies look gorgeous? And so grown up too. They are in a totally adorable phase at the moment. Though that also brings many a moment of mischief.
Their speech is really coming on too. Sentences are getting longer week by week and their comprehension of what we tell them is improving rapidly too. It really is amazing watching your children grow up.
Neither can pronounce a hard C or the letter K yet though, once they manage that their speech is going to sound really impressive. Right now car is "char", but even that's adorable in its own way.
For the curious photophiles among you II shot this on black & white film. Yes actual film. Taken with a brilliant Canon EOS 5 SLR I bought for ?30 on Ebay, oh and a much more expensive Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 lens. The film? Ilford HP5 400.
Oh Muddy Hell
Granny and Grandpa bought Patrick and Kitty a sand pit. Foolishly Mummy and Daddy let the twinnies play with sand and water at the same time. And this is the result.
Photos for Sale
Today I've launched a new little venture. Some of my photographs are now available for purchase via a Photobox Pro page.
You can buy regular 6"x4" prints for a few pence or more elaborate gifts such as mouse mats, mugs, large canvas prints and the like.
I've launched my print shop with just one set of photos today, but more will be added over the coming weeks.
One practical upshot of this new gallery is that I'm going to retire the gallery currently hosted here at harryneary.com but many of those images will be transferred over to the Photobox Pro page in due time.
Take a look you'll find my print shop at photoboxgallery.com/harryneary.
By the way, if you see something you like over on my Flickr page do let me know and I'll add it to the print shop.
Where Are the Wedding Photos?
You may have noticed the wedding photos have gone from the Flickr account. I wanted to keep my Flickr page for photographs I've taken myself - so the wedding pictures are now on Photobox instead.
So if you are a friend or family member who wants to see them then do get in touch and I'll send you the link.
