Cutting fingernails should be left to the little darlings are deep asleep or when they're being distracted by a feed. And even that doesn't work all the time with Sam :D

You've got to admire someone whose first ever attempt at writing a blog post is about poo!

Jo honey you're a wonderful mother and fantastic fiancée, you stink, but you're a great. :)

It's a hard enough learning curve when you have been planning and waiting for it for nine months, I'm sure you are doing brilliantly and probably a lot better than you think you are.

I remember when we were at that stage you would be convinced that you could smell poo but could never work out where it was coming from. I think sometimes the smell gets into your nose you can't shift it.

As for cutting finger nails, when they are asleep and after a bath so the nails are softer makes it much easier to do.

How is it that the end of a small child's finger can bleed so much?? We did the same thing and had the same result!!
