I'm an Idiot

No news there for many of you I expect.

But I've just come up against some bureaucracy and it's my own stupid fault.

I have been wearing contact lenses for a few years now under the supervision of the Manchester Eye Hospital. I haven't been for an appointment for over a year and have just phoned up to make an appointment for a checkup.

It seems that I last attended the place in July 2002 and so have been discharged. It's my own stupid fault really and there's no-one to blame but myself. I had no idea it had been so long.

So what do I have to do now? Well I have to go see my GP, who will then refer me to the Eye Hospital and we will start all over again.

Yes I really am a bit useless at times.
