While life here together remains happy and content, something had gone with our weekends recently. It seems that every time the end of the week came around some major stress would enter our lives and take from us the joy of a relaxing weekend.

For the past three weekends one of us has either been ill, or there's been some other kind of major stress. So this weekend just gone has been a real joy. We've not done much - a trip to Tesco in Finchlay Central was about as adventurous as we've got. But we've found ourselves smiling for most of the weekend, happy in each other's company and without any stress.

A romantic and relaxing weekend is just what we've needed, especially as L had been unwell for over a week recently. An impending Monday really doesn't seem as bad when you've had a chance to chill out.

What else have we been up to? Well I've been playing a little Brian Lara International Cricket and Sid Meier's Pirates. We watched a couple of DVDs, cooked a few meals, listened to some radio comedy and talked about our plans for the future.

Life here is good.
