Planning a wedding is a rather stressful thing. Of course the ceremony itself is easily sorted, but it's all the surrounding elements that are fraught with tensions.

It's great then with just over eight weeks to go that everything seems to be pulling together very well.

All the major things we need to book are now booked. Not bad considering how late we've left some elements. We can now focus on the tweaking and more importantly, focus on what a wonderful thing we're doing.

Given some of the arrangements that have come together in the last week or so one cannot help but feel we've been getting a big chunk of divine help. No surprise really given how blessed we feel in the way we met and how our life has progressed from that point.

Sure there may be the odd bump in the road ahead of us, you can't plan as something as big as a wedding without expecting those, but right now I feel as calm as I've ever felt during this process.

Tonight we are going to have a major push on the invites and we may have most of them in the post tomorrow. And then we can get on with looking forward to an amazing day and an amazing life to follow.
