Crikey it's got a bit chilly hasn't it? Thankfully last weekend's boiler breakdown was resolved on Tuesday which means we can keep our flat warm even though it's brass monkies outside. We've even had some snow here in Essex today with the chance of more to come later.

Meanwhile the working week is drawing to a close. I'm pretty tired having worked pretty damn hard this week. Picked up Need for Speed: Most Wanted on Xbox today and am enjoying it a lot. Unfortunately my poor Xbox (given to me by Microsoft in 2003) is on its last legs and keeps giving me disk read errors. I'm going to try a lense cleaner over the weekend and see if that helps.

I'm pretty excited about the weekend as it's my birthday Sunday. I don't normally get excited about birthdays, at my age they all seem a bit of a blur. But this is my first birthday with my gorgeous fiancee L. So I'm rather looking forward to Sunday.
