It's been a busy old week for me as there's lots to do at the moment, hence the lack of updates here on the site in the last few days.

I've also been trying to do other stuff – such as messing around with my guitar – rather than just waffle away here on the site.

So what have I been up to?

The major task is preparing the flat for the return of Patrick & Katie in a few week's time. This involves two things really.

The first is that I'm trying to inventory everything I've got here – we have so many clothes of so many different sizes. And it makes sense to know what I have so I can see what I need to get. I've had a good look through the boxes in one room now, next I need to look through the cupboard in the other room.

The other major task is to have a tidy up and make the best use of space – there's loads of stuff that needs to go up in the loft and I'll probably get round to that by the end of the week.

Related to that, rather belatedly is the need for a spring clean, the letting agents come and check the place every three months to make sure one doesn't let it go to ruin. So I'm all armed with dusters, cleaners, a hoover and some Cillit BANG and am working my way through the place ensuring it sparkles, not only for the return of the twins, but also for this agent visit.

I've also been out on my bike a few times and am going a little further each time. The major piece of exercise is actually carrying it up and down stairs. Thankfully the bike is pretty light, it's certainly not as heavy as Patrick & Katie's double buggy. Once my car is down here (courtesy of Dad) then I can leave the buggy in the boot.

I don't think I've got anything else to tell you...

Oh I went on a date this week, yes with a girl...but I'm sure you don't want to hear about that.

Well she is smart, funny, gorgeous, sexy, spiritual, charming, cute, chatty and wonderful company. I could quite happily list her qualities for quite some time.
