Broadsword calling Danny Boy
*sigh*
So here I was thinking as L was off to her folks for the evening I would have a glorious evening of Xbox Live action. But the evening can be summed up with one simple expression...
*meh*
I really haven't got to grips with this being on my own lark. I've been bored out of my tiny mind, as the rest of this silly post will attest. Essentially I've been hanging around in hearing distance of the phone, while making the occasional foray into the world of Forza Motorsport. And where was the Ghost Recon 2 crowd tonight?
The only real highlight was an email from L with a mission of great importance, one which I carried out with immediate due diligence and a fair amount (it has to be said) elan.
The mission, as you might expect from such as I (though I've no wish to blow my own trumpet), was 100 percent successful. However I did not hear from the Mobile HQ whether the information secured was of use to the Intelligence section. There has been no word from HQ since the information was relayed; nothing by homing pigeon, semaphore, wireless telegram or the fabled British Telecom.
Fear of waking future in-laws has kept this agent from ascertaining the successful conclusion of this mission. One can only conclude that the information was no longer required, it arrived too late, or this particular agent has been relegated to the secretive branch of the service known simply as The Doghouse for reasons yet unknown.
For the time being, Agent H will continue to monitor communications traffic in the hope a signal may get through.

At least with the Xbox360's VGA support I'll have the option to take the box up to the PC room and play on the monitor should "unmissable" TV try to get in the way :-)
Been grabbing some movies too, there's one on the Photo Album section of the site, in the Videos folder.
