All over the world countries cope with snow without a problem, in the Alps public transport runs on schedule and in Canada -40 isn't going to stop people getting to work.

Yet here in the UK a couple of inches of snow causes transport chaos. What a really pathetic nation we live in, that the transport infrastructure can't deal with a dusting of snow.

At least the snow is pretty and we're all tucked up and warm in our flat. I'm glad I didn't have to commute anywhere today.
