Another Major Photographic Purchase
I've been spending again. Which is liable to get me into trouble. Yes I've gone to B&Q and spent £2.95 on a junior hacksaw.
Why?
Well it has enabled me to convert my Cokin P-Series Filter Holder (original cost £7.99) - which vignettes when used with my Sigma 10-20mm f4 lens - into a wide angle holder which does not.
That comes at the cost of losing two filter holding slots, but I only use the closest slot anyway.
So thus I have saved some £5 by not buying a wide angle holder and getting the small saw instead. And here is the result of my efforts.
Not that everything has gone well. I also bought a light-sensing bulb for the light outside, but I bought a bayonet instead of screw fitting - so I shall have to return to B&Q later.
And for those wondering at the ultimate banality of this post - this is exactly what happens when my beautiful girlfriend and kids are left recuperating back in Dorset while I'm alone here in London - I get even more dull.
